About ABC

In 1958 Chicago police officer, James Faust, Sr., saw a need for automotive security systems after becoming aware of
the increasing number of vehicle thefts and break-ins. He soon started moonlighting installing these systems. Soon after,
the business grew so large that he quit his job on the Chicago police force and officially opened the business that is now
know as ABC Automotive Electronics. ABC is widely known as Chicago’s leader in automotive security and has installed
over 100,000 auto alarms. The business is now run by the founders sons Jim and John Faust and has been diversified
to include custom audio and video systems and has been involved in providing cellular service since 1986. ABC has been
known for quality products, installation and service for over 40 years. ABC is a name you can trust for all your automotive
